Until Cy can send me the pictures another way, I was only able to save the small pix of the slideshow, it wouldn't let me save the larger ones, I even tried to load the slideshow on Photobucket, but it failed twice. Confused

I was able to forward Cy's e-mail on to my Yahoo account, thinking maybe I would be able to save the larger pix, but it only let me save the first one, so here it is and then the smaller ones for now.....I figured the smaller ones are better than none! Rolling Eyes

I have to admit that I had to Google the "Xoloitzquintleto", to see what it was!!!!.....it's a mexican hairless dog!!!! Laughing
THANK YOU CY, FOR SHARING WITH US!!!! Looking forward to more pix and stories!

As far as the lil ones, Gary is the one with the little girl standing next to him. That was a picture we took when we picked him up. He was a rescue from Michigan, hadn't ever had his hoofs trimmed, to the point his front joints are permanently affected. Therefore, he's on a daily regimine of glucosamine and VERY regular hoof trimming to get his hooves back to an appropriate fit. He's almost there!

Junior is the one standing in the back seat of my car with me! Yes, the back seat of my two door sports car, lol. When we picked him up he had all his hair, as you can see. Well, when I arrived at the place where he resided, I was expecting for him to weigh about 75 pounds, however, when I went to lift him up to put him in the car he was literally, without exageration, no more than 25 pounds. I brought him home, shaved him down, and was heartbroken to see what what underneath all that hair. A skeleton with a thin sheet of skin draped over it. He has a bad eye as well, one that is being replaced with a glass eye here soon:) He's doing much better now, is almost nice and fat alongside the others.

And LouAnne is the one standing in the road with a friend, she came from a horse farm where she lived on the back porch and had also NEVER had her hooves trimmed. When I brought her home, her little hooves looked like dutch wooden clogs. They were curled completely up and over, just a pinch from touching the tops of her hoof. Both LouAnne and Junior have the same front right hoof that sets on its side rather than flat.

Gumbi, the camel, he came from New York and has received intensive care from OSU Veterinarian Clinic as well as one of our attending veterinarians who used cold laser surgery successfully on a damaged radial nerve in a front shoulder from birth. Gumbi is still undergoing daily physcial therapy, and is in company with the little ones. For whatever reason, he enjoys their company more than anything else....except his dad! Smile

We have two tigers, Kayla and Thomas. Thomas is three and Kayla is a little over a year. Their stories are unique as well, however, two of the most wonderful cats you'd ever meet.

Emma, a ten year old, mother raised spider monkey, is one of two that were brought here after being rejected by mothers as a result of calcium deficiencies.

Bedtime here includes, Emma the monkey, one Irish Wolfhound, an umbrella cockatoo, a medium sized xoloitzquintle, and some nights a little calico cat. Everyone here receives crazy love and attention and some of the best facilitation available. I am blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful creatures that are so willing to reciprocate the love!
I'll keep sending more pictures, especially of the little ones.
