I received this e-mail from a girl awhile back:
I am a senior vet student at University of Tennessee college of veterinary medicine (class of 2010) and I am doing a presentation on tendon laxity in neonates. I ran across your website and would like to include your "magic shoes" in my presentation to the residents, professors, and other students here. How much do your shoes cost in general? What material are they made of? Do you have any other more "technical" info that you would like to add to my presentation. Your pictures on the website are amazing. The presentation will be given during grand rounds next thursday.
Thank you for your time,
I asked her if she would like me to send her a samle shoe for her presentation, this was her reply:
Would love a sample if you think you could send it in time for the presentation. Your shoes sound very reasonable in cost, and I will include the info you sent, along with the pictures and info from your website as part of the treatment portion of my presentation. Thank you for your prompt reply. If you decide to send the sample shoe, my address is
Thanks again, I am very excited about this presentation!
Class of 2010
Here's what she wrote after her presentation:
I did receive the shoe you sent just in time! The presentation went very well, and was made more interactive and interesting by passing around your sample shoe. I received many questions, and handed out all of the business cards. I will be showing the shoe to the school farrier who handles difficult cases for the school. Many clinicians here at the hospital were very interested in the shoes, and commented that they looked better than anything else they have seen for fixing deformities in minis. Again thank you so much for your time, and I hope that you are able to continue to help many more horses with your magic shoes!
