we are having a quiet. WET new year. wish the sun would come out. miss my little angels.
we hope to go to the tabasco country store tomorrow.
i was surprised lots of sheep in the pepper fields. They keep the weeds down? and i know sheep manure is ideal fertilizer!!  they are the pretty ones with black faces and legs.
usually the island is a faerie land. so green and pretty with spanish moss everywhere.  but with it being so overcast and dreary, its really rather depressing and cold. the camellias are gorgeous and i have several really pretty photos of them. just didn't want to bore the forum with tons of photos of flowers lol  haven't seen the black bear or the bobcats or even any egrets at the bird racks. everyone has disappeared so it seems.

the buddha's pagoda. due to the lighting it was hard to get a photo of the Buddha itself. but its in there. since 1936.

Janell Twinkie and Bo have been close since Bo was born six months ago they really do love each other and Twinkie is good therapy for Bo being that his mother passed a few short weeks ago, Twinkie really raises Bo's spirits he was having a tough time of it from being so bonded with his mother.
